Happy Berry Birthday, Avery!

Avery's 3rd birthday was very "berrilicious"! There were many family and friends there to celebrate our baby girl's day. From strawberry cake to strawberry candles, it was a fun time (even though we didn't have a "single ladies" party like she requested). One of the cutest moments was when Ryder would hand her one of her birthday gifts, and she would literally squeel out loud with delight. Avery Grace acts like she's 3 going on 13, and she's already planning her next party. JD and I can't believe how quickly time flies and are so blessed to have this sassy little girl in our lives.
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds. Phil 4

Ryder's 5th Birthday Party

Attention all Super Heroes! Ryder's 5th birthday was fantastic. We had lots of family and friends there to celebrate our little man's birthday. I still can't believe that he's 5 and that he'll start kindergarten in the fall of 2010! Ryder is full of energy, silliness, and all things boy. This year he has learned how to write his name, recognize the letters of the alphabet, and count higher than 20 (I'm not sure how high because I had him count for me and he counted to 40, then skipped to 60, and then 100 followed by "Is that good enough?"). Ryder brings laughter to our home, and hopefully all of this "boy stuff" that he does won't shock me as much as he gets older like it does now (or maybe not).
